Agility (AGI) : Measures hand eye coordination, flexibility, nimbleness, and balance.Body (BOD) : Measures physical health and resilience. Here's a very simplified explanation of each attribute: In general, you want to have the biggest dice pool you can so that you have a better chance at being successful. For example, shooting a pistol would use a dice pool of Firearms + Agility (since Firearms has Agility as its linked attribute). Every skill in Shadowrun has an associated attribute which contributes to your dice pool when trying to perform that skill. You may also want to know what these attributes mean and what you need to take into account when choosing your metatype. If you want to be a smooth-talking face, you may not want to choose a troll. ![]() Notice that, depending on your metatype, there are different maximum values for the various attributes. What's your backstory? What's your character's motivation? My group is great at the role-playing aspects, but until I get them hooked on the rule-set, they are not motivated to generate characters, and I am too caught up in the other aspects to create something for them. ![]() I guess if I have to I will stick with the intro box characters, but was hoping someone who liked to generate characters (in the past this was a small hobby I practiced when I was in High School and playing AD&D) would be posting them online for others to perhaps use in missions. ![]() ![]() But while I am OK running a world for them to jump into, I am less good at character generation, and was looking for a few pre-made characters to give to the players to choose from. I am trying to introduce my gaming buddies to Shadowrun, and while they are interested in the setting, I would like to run them through a few missions to seal the deal. "Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon."
